Frontwing HA700
The HA700 front wing was developed mainly for freeride / freerace sessions in windfoil , it nevertheless adapts to all levels of riders.
It is the perfect front wing for thrill seekers , developing power and stability at high speeds that are second to none.
It is designed with an optimized profile for minimal drag , which gives you an incomparable feeling of sliding.
What you must remember :
- Windfoil speed
- Easy performance
Manufacturing
While most brands use PrePreg manufacturing methods for the production of carbon parts, Taaroa uses a proprietary method called DFCM ( Dynamic Fluid Compression Moulding ). This method makes it possible to use a larger palette of carbon fibers and gives better results in terms of rigidity and of quality , thus improving performance on the water.
About Low Aspect Ratio Wings
A wing with a High Aspect Ratio is generally longer, thinner, more fast , with lower drag, but one lower lift.
Wings High Aspect Ratio are often used in speed-oriented disciplines.
They are also increasingly used in surf foiling, downwind and wingfoil.
Wings High Aspect Ratio often have less surface area than low aspect ratio wings; the typical area is between 700 and 1400 cm2.
A surface wing smaller generates less lift, and gives the rider better control in stronger winds and at higher speeds.
High Aspect Ratio front wings are designed to have a thinner profile or leading edge to reduce drag.
